Here is Zachary's 3rd Grade school picture

We are busy with school and scouts - both Cub Scouts and Brownies. I am a co-leader for Brownie Troop 856. Zachary just finished his popcorn sales for scouts. He sold over $1,100 of popcorn. His scout camp for next year is totally paid for! Leeanna will sell cookies in Feb. So watch out, we will be asking everyone for sure!

This picture is of my sisters, Ambre and Kacee at the fair. I took this picture standing on the ground looking straight up. I'm not upside down, they are! The loved it. I went on this ride a couple of years ago and I would not go again! I'm guessing I'm getting too old for that kind of stuff.

Week of Aug. 14

This picture is one of my favorites of our kids. This was taken on July 7th. We were at Glacier National Park on the continental divide walking to Hidden Lake. We got sun burnt walking in the snow in our shorts and t-shirts.

Well we had open house last night at Sunset Lake.

We got to see Leeanna's and Zachary's classrooms.

Leeanna is still trying to eat all of her lunch. "They only give me like 10 minutes" she keeps telling us. She has never won any speed eating contest. But we are working on it. She signed up for the 1st grade briefcase program yesterday. Once a week she will get to bring home a different briefcase with lots of fun activities for learning to read more independently.

Zachary's desk was clean and tidy. We got to see his AR (Accelorated Reader) book he is reading and he has his first locker at school. It was clean, nothing in it. I'm sure that will not last long. A great place to forget stuff in every day when the weather get colder.

We have a wedding on Saturday and the kids are spending the night at Grandma Dee's house.

Trace Adkins Concert on 9/11

OK, so this posting is about me..... Yep, no kids to report on. Just me and my concert buddy Barb Smalla. We went to see Josh Gracin and Trace Adkins on 9/11 at the Allegan County Fair. The picture on the left is our self portrait. An of course you know who is on the right!!!!!

2nd Week of School

Well, we made it. 2nd week of school. . . Yippie!!

Leeanna found the milk line at lunch and can get her lunch now. She just does not have enough time to eat it. Only 20 minutes. She is not a speed eater for sure!

Zachary is doing wonderful. He only has 15 minutes for lunch.

Here is the gang on the first day of school. Leeanna, Jacob, Zachary, Braxon, Caleb and Landon. What a great lookin' bunch if kids if I do say so myself. They all go to Grandma Dee's house for daycare.

The first day of school. Zachary has Mrs. Wilson and is now in 3rd Grade. Leeanna is in 1st grade and has Mrs. Banner. Both love school but wish that the weather would cool down. Leeanna is lucky enough to have a teacher who has air conditioning in her room. Zachay "sits in a pool of sweat" every day.

Rain, rain go away!!! Sunday - race rained out....($30 gas, $20 food) Monday - race rained out.....($30 gas, $20 food) Tuesday - Zachary got to go to his first NASCAR race...(600 miles driven from Friday to Monday in race/car related activities) = Priceless!!

Spa Night and NASCAR week for the Wagners

This is the week that NASCAR comes to Michigan. Mark and Zachary are going to the time trials on Friday. They are also going to the Woodward Cruse in Detroit on Saturday. Mark and I are going to the race at MIS on Sunday. Busy weekend. This week we have not camp just Fishing on Thursday for the boys.

Here is a picture of Leeanna and Sami Gettle at Spa Night at church. The girls go to have a mini massage, nails painted, feet soaked, hair done and door prizes. Now I need a night like that!!!

Thank God it's Friday!! Leeanna had a wonderful time at camp. She loved it!

It was Very, Very hot! Mark missed the central air at home.

We are going out for our anniversary dinner finally. No broken toe, drag races or anything else! Yippie!

Future Pro Fishing Stars

Week of Aug. 7th

The Wagner's are very busy this week. (when are we not busy?)

Sun - Tues Mark and Zachary are at Cub Scout Camp. Tuesday night is the Ice Cream Social at the Cub Scouts Camp.

Mon - Fri Leeanna is at Girl Scout Day Camp. She is doing the Water Sprites session. She has been having a ton of fun.

We also have a Diabetes Support Group Meeting this week on Wed night.

Leeanna has Spa Night at Church on Friday night.

A Brownie Nature Hike on Saturday morning. I think that is our week, but I may have forgot something..... not sure.....

End of week

This week was a fun one. Mark smashed his toe on Thursday last week and was home with a broken toe until Wed. morning. Zachary and Mark went fishing on Thursday night and Zachary caught 8 fish, Mark even got one off the dock. Leeanna and I stayed home and baked 6 loves of zucchini bread. Only one more month until school starts.... Yippie for the kids, Zachary can"t wait.
